Director
Sarah Carpenter
Sarah Carpenter is living the dream as Director of Bands at Turlock High. She previously taught at Turlock Jr. High and Los Banos Jr. High. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. When she isn’t obsessing over the band program, Sarah enjoys traveling, hiking, and rock climbing.

Marching/Brass Technician
Sara Yang
Sara Yang is a trumpet and marching arts educator. She has been given various marching awards, such the title of All-American Drum Major, and marched the London New Years Day Parade. She has previously worked at Turlock Christian JH/HS as their trumpet and marching technician and is currently attending CSU Stanislaus to pursue a bachelor's degree in music education. If not creating music, she enjoys fiber arts and cooking new recipes.

Guard Technician
Julia Cornejo
Julia Cornejo is a colorguard educator based in California’s Central Valley. She has spent 9 years teaching, designing and assisting various music programs in Northern California. When not teaching, Julia enjoys hiking, traveling, and a great cup of coffee.

Percussion Technician
Andrew Rose
Andrew Rose is a percussion educator from Turlock, CA. He's been apart of indoor groups such as Bakersfield College and Thesis. He has his bachelor's degree in Music Technology. He is going into his 4th year of teaching at Turlock High as well as teaching at a few other schools in the Bay Area. When not teaching, he enjoys composing and designing indoor shows as well as bowling.

Percussion Technician
Nathan Proctor
Nathan Proctor is a percussion educator from Winton, CA. He has been apart of indoor and outdoor groups such as Bakersfield College, Vanguard Cadets, and POW Percussion. He is currently attending Merced College for business administration. He is in his second year teaching at Atwater High School and his first here at Turlock High. Aside from drumming and teaching, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and playing games.

Percussion Technician
Anissa Jara
Anissa Jara is a percussion educator from Ceres, CA. She has played with the Central California Wind Ensemble and worked as assistant musical director for the youth theater company YES Co. This is her first year teaching at Turlock High and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Music Education and Percussion Performance. When she is not playing or teaching, she enjoys crocheting, hiking, and thrifting.
